District Softball has been set and your Waverly Vikings have earned a spot playing Saturday @ Plum Creek Park in Seward. This is a best 2/3 series with a chance to punch a ticket to State. More information will be shared as it is received.
Softball is beat by Elkhorn North 2-1. A very well played game by both teams! We will await the conclusion of other districts to see if we will qualify for a District Final.

What a night it was for our 6 wonderful Seniors, their parents, our team, and the softball community! The JV defeated Hastings 7-6 while the varsity hit the ball well and played great defense against a tough Hastings team for the 13-3 win. THANK YOU SENIORS 👏👏...👏👏👏

Concessions: Will be available. A strict policy of no outside food allowed inside the complex. Players can bring in water and small snack items. (no team buffets inside the complex)

Unfortunately, due to the heavy rainfall through the night, and the fact that it is still raining, the EARLY SESSION of the LPS SOFTBALL CLASSIC HAS BEEN CANCELED.
Due to the excessive heat for tomorrow, the softball games at Nebraska City have been postponed. We are working on a date to reschedule. If/when that happens, we will communicate that out.
