We know our boys basketball season didn't end the way we all hoped, but what a year it has been. Every time out, no one gave you a chance & yet you always pushed teams to the limit. Each & every time out, the work ethic, hustle and passion you played with made US all very proud.
The Boys Basketball District Final tonight at Bennington will be streamed on their BPS YouTube Channel.
Official matchups are set, Waverly Boys earn the 10 seed and will travel to Bennington. Date and time are TBD.

The JV game scheduled for this evening will likely have a delayed start as Omaha Gross's bus was late showing up.

Waverly boys lose a nailbiter to the Cavaliers 38–35. Both the boys and the girls will be back in action again tomorrow night at home against Aurora. Come out to honor our seniors for SENIOR NIGHT!
ALL Activities scheduled for Saturday, January 20th will go on as scheduled. Speech, lower level boys BBALL, and the snowball dance. B/G wrestling teams will now go to the Omaha Burke Invite. Wrestling starts tomorrow at 8:30am. Coach D. will be in contact with more specifics.

Waverly Boys defeat Hastings 58-52. They will play tomorrow at standing Bear High School at 2:00pm. They will play the Blair Bears.
At the half, Waverly boys lead Hastings 25-22.

Official, Waverly boys will travel to Crete for a district final and a chance to punch their ticket to state on Tuesday. Game time is set for 6:30pm. No need to make other plans Tuesday. See you there!!!
