Baseball Fans...here are some additional notes from Werner Park.
- The Parking Lot will not open for spectators until one hour before the first pitch of the day.
- Gates will not open for fans until 30 minutes prior to first pitch.
We had a fantastic evening celebrating these awesome seniors and their parents. They & the team made things interesting, but sealed the win over Seward 6-5. Thanks for ALL the memories boys! Keep GRINDING and Good Luck entering post season!!
The reserve baseball games vs. Columbus have been cancelled.
The reserve baseball game vs. Platteview scheduled for Friday, April 26th has been moved to be played on Wednesday, April 24th due to the potential threat of wet weather Thursday night into Friday and again Friday afternoon/evening. Game time is the same, starting at 4:30pm.
Baseball gets back in the win column this morning defeating Omaha Burke 7-0. Time to get rested up for a busy upcoming week.
Viking Baseball falls short to Millard South in game 2 this afternoon, 6-7.
Norris plates 6 in the bottom of the 4th and adds another one in the 5th to win the game 10-0 over Waverly. Impressive bats from the Titans this morning.

Due to high winds of 60+ mph in central Nebraska tomorrow, Hastings Public Schools has grounded all travel. Therefore, baseball will play a dual vs. LNW @ Den Hartdog tomorrow. Varsity @ 10:00am with JV to follow. NO GAMES AT LAWSON PARK TOMORROW. Activity Calendar is updated.
It is official, Waverly baseball is the #1 seed in the EMC Conference Baseball Tournament. They will host Hastings on Monday, April 8th. First pitch at 4:30pm. We will play our JV game against Lincoln East following the varsity game.

That's a HUGE walk off WIN for the baseball team as Drew Koch drives in the winning run in the bottom of 7 to defeat a VERY GOOD Beatrice team 3-2. JV was also victorious earlier today. Keep finding a way men!!!
The reserve Mt. Michael baseball games have been rescheduled to be played on Saturday, April 6th. They will now be @ Mt. Michael with the first game starting at 10:00am. The activity calendar has been updated.
Due to wet field conditions and dropping temperatures, the V/JV baseball games @ Elkhorn have been postponed for this evening. When we find a date to reschedule, we will communicate that out. The activity calendar has been updated.

Varsity baseball at Platteview this afternoon WILL play as scheduled (4:30pm) as of right now. The temperature for the JV game this evening will be below the threshold for play, therefore, the JV baseball game has been cancelled.

Waverly Baseball had another day on the bump, defeating Ralston and Omaha Westview to move to 3-0 on the season. Season opener vs. Wahoo out at Lawson Park on Tuesday. You need to come see these boys play!
