| | | 4th Quarter!!! 🌸Welcome to the 4th quarter! our goals in the 4th include staying focused, finishing strong, and savoring the last moments we get this year's group of kids! In the 4th quarter we solidify skills, and make the final push to reach goals. As we partner with you this 4th quarter please continue to read with your kids at home, practice spelling words, and reinforce key math skills to support their learning. Your involvement makes a huge difference in their confidence and success!
As we move through these final months, we also encourage you to celebrate your child’s growth—academically, socially, and emotionally. This is a time to recognize their hard work and progress while preparing them for the next steps in their learning journey.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Let’s make this last quarter a great one! | | Viking Learners 📚As we approach the beginning of May, we will begin preparing students for end-of-the-year assessments. These assessments help us measure growth and ensure students are ready for the next grade level. Consistently practicing reading and spelling words, reading together at home, and taking an interest in your child's schoolwork by asking questions can make a big difference. Thank you for partnering with us to help students finish the year strong! | | Expectations & Celebrations 🙂Q3 Vike Life AwardsHallway Heros - Miss Bream’s Kindergarten Best Bathroom - Mrs. Curtis’s and Mrs. Frantzen’s 2nd Grade Whistle Winners - Miss Warnemunde 1st Grade Spick and Span - Mrs. Schere’s 2nd Grade Lunchroom Leaders - Mrs. Sullivan’s First Grade

We have great kids and great families! Thank you for your continued support as we celebrate students while at the same time help them learn from mistakes and prepare them for life in the real world. We strive to teach the whole child, not only academic skills, but also real word skills that demonstrate respect, responsible, and safe behaviors. | | Building Class Rosters 🎒🍎One important task schools focus on at the end of the year and throughout the summer is creating class rosters for the upcoming school year. Our goal is to thoughtfully build class lists that best support student success. A great deal of time and consideration goes into this process, as we take multiple factors into account, including academic levels, available support staff, boy-to-girl ratio, and overall group dynamics.
While we do not accept teacher requests, we value your insight into your child’s learning needs. If there are specific attributes or classroom environments in which your child thrives, please feel free to share that information with Mrs. Renken directly via email at sara.renken@district145.org prior to the end of the school year. | | Important Dates 📆April dates Kindergarten Round Up Parent meeting April 3 at 6:00pm No Kindergarten on Friday, April 4 for current class.
