The Spring Nebraska Spring EconChallenge results are in and WHS students once again excelled! Out of 135 teams from across the state, WHS placed: 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, & 10th. 8 of the top 10 Nebraska EconChallenge teams were from WHS. 12 students will be going to the Federal Reserve in Omaha April 16th to compete for a chance at Nationals! Way to go!

What a fun day for the art club! Thank you Sheldon gallery, our tour guide Anna, Julia Noyes and friends, Mrs. Rine, and our bus driver Mr. Tierney! Memories were made, and creativity shared!






It will be here before we know it! The annual Jazz Band Dance hosted by our Waverly High School and Middle School Jazz Bands will take place on April 19th at Peace Lutheran Church here in Waverly.


Jr. Vikes Youth Track kicked off their season this evening. 85 kids signed up for the inaugural year of our Youth Track Club. A special THANK YOU to all of the volunteers making this happen for our young kids!





Boys Soccer will travel out to Hastings to play the Tigers in a 1st round EMC Conference Soccer Tournament Game on Monday, April 8th starting at 6:30pm. This game will be played at Hastings College.

It is official, the Waverly Girls Soccer Team will travel to Blair on Monday, April 8 for a 7:00pm 1st round EMC Soccer Tournament Game.

It is official, Waverly baseball is the #1 seed in the EMC Conference Baseball Tournament. They will host Hastings on Monday, April 8th. First pitch at 4:30pm. We will play our JV game against Lincoln East following the varsity game.

Elkhorn South needed to reschedule a JV/V DH to April 23rd. Therefore, our reserve baseball game will now be played on Saturday, April 20th @ Elkhorn South HS. The activity calendar has been updated.
