Our 3rd graders celebrated Grandparents Day with a special Heirloom Show, sharing meaningful items that have been passed down through their families. Students and their grandparents also read The Keeping Quilt by Patricia Polacco — a beautiful story about a family quilt made from loved ones’ clothing back in Russia and how it’s been used and treasured for generations.
From family farm photos and quilts to sheriff badges, jewelry, and ornaments, students proudly shared the stories behind their family treasures. What a wonderful way to honor family history and celebrate the connections between generations! 💫

🐾 During our Pet Study in EC, our dramatic play area turned into a Vet Center! The children had so much fun caring for their animal patients — checking temperatures, wrapping bandages, and making sure every pet went home happy and healthy. ❤️🐶🐱🐢
