Monday, September 16th Eagle Elementary is celebrating International Dot Day! International Dot Day is a global celebration of creativity, courage, and collaboration. The day is inspired by the book The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds, which tells the story of a teacher who encourages a doubting student to make her mark and discover her own abilities. Help us celebrate by having your student wear dots on Monday!

We can hardly wait to see our Eagle Vikings tomorrow, Wednesday, August 14th! Gym doors will open at 7:50 am, where all students will gather. Signs on the walls will direct students to their grade and teacher. The bell rings at 8:05 am, when students will go to classrooms. Kindergarten families are welcome to attend the Boo Hoo Breakfast in the school cafeteria starting at 8:10 am. Wishing everyone a great first day of school!
We look forward to seeing all of our students at the Annual PTE Back to School Bash and All School Open House on Monday, August 12th, 5:30-6:30 pm. Your child will have an opportunity to meet their teacher, visit the classroom, drop off school supplies and see friends! PTE will also be offering a fun evening filled with activities including an Ice Cream Social (6:00-7:30 pm), Food Trucks (5:30-7:30 pm) and Fall Sign-Ups. The first day of school is Wednesday, August 14th and all students will meet in the school gym, doors opening at 7:50 am. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Help out the Waverly Viking Band! Band Boosters are sponsoring the Golf Cart Raffle. New 6th Grade Band Members are encouraged to participate and starting building their Golden Account. Internationally known for their work with young artists, the Lofte is proud to host the Missoula Children’s Theatre free workshop again for the 2024 season for the production of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Open auditions for all children entering 1st grade thru 12th grade will be held on June 10th at 10 AM, and the week-long camp will run from June 10th thru June 15th with live performances June 15th at 3 PM and 6 PM.
Performance tickets are $10 for adults; $8 for children
Happy Last Day of School! Dismissal is at 11:25 am today; no lunch is served. Wishing our 5th Graders the Absolute Best at WMS next year! A Great Big Shout Out & THANK YOU to PTE for absolutely spoiling Eagle Elementary Staff last week! Everyone enjoyed all of the treats, lunch and student participation. It was so appreciated, especially as we enter the home stretch of the school year!
Let's hope third time is a charm! Field Day for Grades 3rd-5th is now rescheduled for Thursday, May 16th! Your child will need a sack lunch on this day. Please also make sure your student has a water bottle and sunscreen if desired.
