Sophia Johnson finished 9th overall at the B-1 Girls Golf District out in Lexington and has punched her ticket to State. She will compete out in Scottsbluff at the Class B State Golf Championships next Monday and Tuesday! CONGRATS SOPHIA!!!!!
Due to the projected high temperatures for Thursday, the EMC Cross Country Championships will now start at 10:00am.
What a day to be a VIKING!!! Our volleyball team finished runner-up at the LNE tournament going 5-1 on the weekend. Our band finished 2nd place overall at the Capital City Marching Championships with our Color Guard earning the top award!!! Well done everyone!!!!
Students in our WHS Art Club attended the Hastings College Mural Day. This group was awarded 1st Place overall for their mural...I can certainly see why. Nice job everyone!!!
WHS Art club students helped give the little free pantry a little makeover! Students painted & helped stock the pantry with baskets, water and non perishable food items and snacks.
The pantry is located in front of the community center & is available to community members!
Today- 7 SkillsUSA members attended the Fall Leadership Conference in Kearney - Students were able to attend sessions with industry partners and learn leadership skills from the State officer team. It was a great day!

Softball vs. Skutt Catholic on Wednesday, September 25th...we will play the JV game at 5:30 with the varsity game to follow around 7:00pm. The activity calendar has been updated.
A BIG TIME S/O to these 3 as Hallie, McKinley and Gracie all made the Kearney Volleyball All-Tournament Team. Last Saturday the team finished the day 3-1 and winners of the Silver division. CONGRATS!!!

EMC Softball update, the Vikings fall to Gretna in the semifinals and will play Hastings in the final game of the day.
EMC Softball Tournament action today. The girls get one back from Elkhorn North to start the day with a 4-3 WIN. Hailey Recker with a phenomenal play to end the game while Bivens owned the circle. Winner of Gretna/Norris next in the semifinals.
