What a day for Waverly Softball on the diamond. The girls finished the day 3-0 defeating Wahoo 7-3, Ashland 10-2, and topped the day beating Crete
14-2.
The Waverly Girls Golf Team Hosted their Waverly Invite on Tuesday. The team finished 4th overall. Sophia Johnson and Marin Maahs placed 4th and 5th both turning in a 99. CONGRATS to all on a great day!!

Lille Benes leads the waverly girls with a finish of 16th place. Jared Schroeder finished 3rd and Gregory Cockerill 14th to lead the boys to a 7th place team finish at the Norris Invite this morning. A great start on the trail for our XC runners.

The Waverly & Omaha Skutt SB games will resume play on Wednesday, September 25th. The Varsity will resume at 5:00pm with JV to follow. No Admission will be taken.
Due to this evenings rain forecast, LPS had made some updates with the LPS Softball Classic for tomorrow morning. Waverly will get started at 11:00am.
SCHEDULE CHANGE ALERT: Varsity softball will now start at 4:00pm this afternoon vs. Omaha Skutt. We will play JV following the varsity game if weather & field conditions permit. The activity schedule has been updated. Reminder, WHS does not dismiss school until 3:40pm.
Girls Golf competed at the Beatrice Invite today. The team finished 7th and Marin Maahs finished with a 96 and 15th overall. Congrats to Everyone!!!

Waverly Softball started the 2024 Season going 2-0 in pool play last night at the Omaha Gross Cougar Classic. Waverly will play in the Championship game @ Omaha Gross High School tomorrow, Saturday, August 24th. The game is scheduled to start at 12:00pm.
