WHS Art club students helped give the little free pantry a little makeover! Students painted & helped stock the pantry with baskets, water and non perishable food items and snacks. The pantry is located in front of the community center & is available to community members!

Today- 7 SkillsUSA members attended the Fall Leadership Conference in Kearney - Students were able to attend sessions with industry partners and learn leadership skills from the State officer team.   It was a great day!

Softball vs. Skutt Catholic on Wednesday, September 25th...we will play the JV game at 5:30 with the varsity game to follow around 7:00pm. The activity calendar has been updated.

A BIG TIME S/O to these 3 as Hallie, McKinley and Gracie all made the Kearney Volleyball All-Tournament Team. Last Saturday the team finished the day 3-1 and winners of the Silver division. CONGRATS!!!

Hastings defeats the Vikings in the final game of the day. Waverly finishes 4th at the 2024 EMC Conference Championships!!! A rest day before we get to honor our Seniors on Monday!!!

EMC Softball update, the Vikings fall to Gretna in the semifinals and will play Hastings in the final game of the day.

EMC Softball Tournament action today. The girls get one back from Elkhorn North to start the day with a 4-3 WIN. Hailey Recker with a phenomenal play to end the game while Bivens owned the circle. Winner of Gretna/Norris next in the semifinals.

EMC Softball Tournament on Saturday at Blair Youth Sports Complex. All day tournament is $10 for adults and $8 for students; EMC School ID badges only accepted. GOOD LUCK LADIES!!!

What a day for Waverly Softball on the diamond. The girls finished the day 3-0 defeating Wahoo 7-3, Ashland 10-2, and topped the day beating Crete 14-2.

The Waverly Girls Golf Team Hosted their Waverly Invite on Tuesday. The team finished 4th overall. Sophia Johnson and Marin Maahs placed 4th and 5th both turning in a 99. CONGRATS to all on a great day!!

Lille Benes leads the waverly girls with a finish of 16th place. Jared Schroeder finished 3rd and Gregory Cockerill 14th to lead the boys to a 7th place team finish at the Norris Invite this morning. A great start on the trail for our XC runners.
