If you need access to a computer, please contact Teresa Erdkamp at teresa.erdkamp@district145.org or 402-786-2321 x 1120 to schedule an appointment.

Classroom Snack Information

Parents of all students in grades K-5 have the opportunity to purchase daily classroom snack for their child this school year.  To ensure the safety of all students, snacks brought from home are not allowed.  The cost of snack is separate from the cost of lunch.  Snacks can be paid for by semester or year ($36.00 per semester or $72.00 per year) using MySchoolBucks. Information regarding MySchoolBucks was sent out earlier this summer. Additional information regarding daily snack can be found in your Parent Portal under section 2-3 Elementary Classroom Snack.

Dental Screenings

A reminder for parents of children entering the following grades: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7th, and 10th.  If your child had a dental exam after February 16, 2023, please get a note from the dentist for us.  State regulations require documentation of dental exam, or your child will have to be screened at school in the fall.  Please upload proof of a dental exam in your Parent Portal under section 3-3 Dental Health Information Waiver.

Free/Reduced Lunch Form

Free & Reduced applications are available in the Parent Portal under section 5-1 Acknowledgement & Consent. Please complete these forms as soon as possible. It typically takes about a day to process and determine status of an application.  Free & Reduced applications must be completed at the start of every school year.

Lunch Balance & Payments

District 145 provides the option for families to view and pay their lunch balances online.  This is done in partnership with our lunch software vendor (Wordware, Inc.) and an online payment processing service made for schools (e~Funds for schools).  You can also send payments with your child to school and our staff will deposit it into your family account.

For more information regarding the Viking Discovery Program, visit the FFE website at THIS LINK.

Transportation

If you live in Waverly and are close to our pickup and drop off sites, and would like your child transported to and from school, you may sign up at the Central Office at 14511 Heywood. The cost is $100 for 1 child and $135 for 2 or more children. If you are interested in cross-town bussing, please contact the Central Office at 402-786-2321 between the hours of 7:30am and 4:00pm.

Students who ride the bus (country routes or cross-town) are expected to ride the bus unless we have heard otherwise from a parent or guardian. Please let the office know if pick up plans change for your child. We do not allow students to change their pick up plans without permission.
